Sophia and Sarah both had birthdays recently. There are now 1 and 3. We had our cake and ate it too! :) We bought an ice cream cake and then realized that it was just ice cream and no cake in the middle of it. Brian had to have cake with his ice cream so we went and got a cake to go with the just ice cream cake. Go figure. :) I really can't believe all the time that has passed since the day Sophia was born. How can she be one year old? I can't believe that it is already the end of January. Cliche of all cliches: time flies. Well, it is so true. The older I get it becomes truer and truer all the time. Well, my girls, happy, happy birthday!

I agree with Brian - you have to have CAKE and ICE CREAM to really celebrate a birthday right! Happy birthday (late) to your precious girls! They are growing so fast...but still awfully cute!
